Hymn To Apollo
Apollon Helios, god of the sun
Recognize me not for my state of rot
I claim the inheritance of the son
Whose striving for godhood, my fate begot.

Dying a mortal, to Hades I went
Divinity’s nature my soul cast light
The wandering a fire born of nights spent
To arms of a status that drove me to plight

But mother infernal, chthonic king
A standard a suitor meet their demand
Break up the cycle that ancestry bring
Only powerful gods can ask her hand.

Grant me ambrosia, ascend he who died;
Radiant optimist, grant him his bride.
